Killer Salsa

This salsa combines canned tomatoes and tomato sauce, chopped onion, jalapeno pepper, cilantro and garlic, plus a little vinegar and oil.
Ingredients
- 2 15 oz cans diced tomatoes
- 2 15 oz cans Hunt's Tomato Sauce (This brand provides the best flavor)
- 1/2 medium-size yellow onion, chopped
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro, finely chopped (use mostly leaves and upper stems)
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tablesoons red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 to 2 teaspoons salt (optional)
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- Dash of ground black pepper
- Dash or two of bottled hot pepper sauce
- Tortilla chips

Method
Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Cover and chill at least 2 hours. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
