Hot Layered Taco Salad

This great dip has layers of seasoned ground beef, refried beans, cheese, salsa and black beans. Once baked, this hot dip is great for any occasion.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cheddar or taco cheese
  • 1 15 oz can black beans
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 15 oz can refried beans
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 1 package lettuce
  • 8 taco bowls or tortillas chips

Method

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef and drain. Return beef back to pan, add taco seasoning and black beans, but do not add water as instructed seasoning package. Mix until well combined. In a bread pan, add 1/4 jar of salsa. In pan, layer beef, refried beans, 1/4 salsa and 1/2 cup cheese. Keep layering with remaining ingredients. Bake 25-30 minutes until cheese and salsa are bubbling. Let rest about 10 minutes. Serve in a taco bowl with lettuce or use chips.
