Chicken/Turkey Ole

A mixture of chopped chicken, onion, condensed soups, green chilies, salsa, and cheese is combined with torn corn tortillas and taco seasoning mix, and used to fill flour tortillas. Toppings are added, as you wish.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Cooked chicken or turkey, chopped
  • 1 can cream mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream chicken soup
  • 1 can chopped green chilies
  • Chicken broth
  • 1 jar salsa
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 package corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped fine
  • Package flour tortillas (12)
  • Toppings: sour cream, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato.

Method

Dip corn tortillas quickly in water to moisten; tear or cut into small pieces. In a soup pot, add all the ingredients except chicken broth, flour tortillas and toppings. Stir together till mixed well. If you need more moisture, add a little chicken broth; let it cook on low heat till the corn tortillas are softened, about 15 minutes. Fill flour tortilla with chicken mixture; add toppings of your choice.

Number of Servings: 6 serving ( 2 filled tortillas per person)
